Len Ovsiowitz was born, raised and educated in South Africa. Having studied accounting and business management at the university, he opened and managed a clothing manufacturing facility before immigrating to the United States in 1976.
Once settled in the states, Len and his wife, Sharon owned and operated a chain of retail office supply stores. Many of his customers were teachers and Len began to realize that although educators had a tremendous opportunity to save for their retirement, they were not receiving much in the way of reliable information about how these benefits work. Also, it seemed quite a few of them were losing money.
Firmly convinced that educators must be provided sufficient information with which to make well-informed decisions about their financial futures, in 1994, Len founded Teachers Financial Services on the principle that educators deserve safe and secure options for their district-approved retirement savings plans.
Through his leadership, Teachers Financial Services consistently demonstrates that financial safety and security should be delivered not only through the companies and products it represents, but also through the associates who represent his organization. Len is proud to have assembled his team of highly trained associates, committed to the highest professional and ethical standards on behalf of their clients.
Proving that honesty and integrity in business does work, Len is able to state, unequivocally, that no client of his or of Teachers Financial Services has ever lost a single penny of their hard-earned money; regardless of the state of the economy!
